It’s that time of the week again where I share a link or two with you. I’ve been super nice this week and included a video too!
www.forwardlean.co.uk
This weeks link is all about Greg Stevens – Graphic Designer, Web Designer, Photographer, Videographer, from ForwardLean.
Originally from London Greg bases himself out in Mayrohefen in the winter months and can generally be found in the Vans Penken Park with camera in hand as the official park photographer. Be sure to check out the photo/film showcase for some stunning pictures.
Greg has also put together a short video of some riding. If you like what you see in the video and wondering ‘what trick was that..?’ then check out his you tube channel where he lists what tricks are performed at certain points in the video. Just click on the time frame and jump straight to that section/trick.
Before you do though, sit back, make sure you’re comfortable, put you’re feet up, after all it is Friday, and check this video out.
Not sure about you, but makes me want to go and ride… now!
Sorry to hear about the injury. I had a read of the post you put up about it and saw the x-rays…
Nice looking front board by the way on that particular post. Definitely in the bag – I see a nice little bit of counter rotating going on in the set up. (thumbs up) Something most people struggle with but which really makes or breaks the trick.
Will be ridding mostly at Hemel this summer but I know for a fact that DefinitionCamps are running their freestyle courses at Castleford now so if I’m up that way coaching it would be good to hook up for a ride.
Take it easy
Chris
Hey Chris,
no worries, you deserve them. As such, I’ve just blogged about the site tonight 😉
I don’t know if you know or not, but last summer, just after I built the balance rail, I had a pretty nasty road accident. Broke my leg pretty badly, and am still out of (snowboard) action, now. Rehab is going well, can cycle, but not really job or run yet. I’m hoping to start shredding again around June/July – starting at Cas’.
So – I haven’t had much further progress with it. The one session that I had after the balance rail and trampoline was very good. Started grabbing nose for the first time, and frontboards were back in the back (just basic ones).
Cheers,
Gavin
Hi Chris,
first of all, just wanted to say that I’m loving the vibe of your site, so much good stuff on here. Next, the video in this post is pretty sick, it’s great. And last – I think the link to ForwardLean is wrong…
+1 subscribers here 😉
Cheers,
Gavin
Hi Gavin,
Thanks for the compliments, link now fixed. It was missing the ‘http://’ – thanks for the spot!
Great site you’ve got there too – was meaning to send an email in asking about how you’re getting on with the balance/wooden board you made up to practice rail and box tricks on.
Oh and be sure to check back for Link Friday, you might recognise the person whos site I’ll be talking about! 🙂
Chris
