After a short wait for Nik to arrive (he was on another one of his “surf research” weekends down in Newquay again), we formed the circle of trust.
A chance, again, for the guys to reflect on last weeks session, giving feedback to each other and debating who would be the first to take out the test board this week, courtesy of ‘Zuma Jay’.
Funny enough there was no talk of England’s demise over the weekend.. oh well.
This week, ‘Zuma Jay’ Surf Shop (located in Bude, Cornwall) have been nice enough to lend us a test board for Elite Squad training. The idea behind this single fin was to encourage some more style in everyone’s riding as well as developing new feelings that will come from using it.
Some didn’t like it, but why? This will be a topic for conversation for next week so check back to see some opinions.
A little worm told me that there are more to come in the way of shapes and fin set ups so be prepared guys.
See if you can spot and name this weeks super grom in the video – he’s in a shorty…
Big thanks to Zuma Jays for the loan of the board this week – cheers Nigel!
